The Township will be holding School Board Elections for Holt, Waverly and Grand Ledge School Districts on May 6.
- April 11, 2008-
At the regular board meeting on April 8, 2008 the Windsor Charter Township Board honored Retired Fire Captain Robert Green. Chief Cribley presented Captain Green with his Gold Badge and Public Safety Chairperson Kern Slucter presented a Tribute from the Board of Trustees for 27 years of service.
- February 20, 2008-
At the regular board meeting on February 12, 2008 the Windsor Charter Township Board formalized the promotion of two members of the Emergency Services Department. Promoted from Lieutenant to Captain in the Fire Division was Michael Dent. Captain Dent joined the department in 1997 and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2004. Promoted from Firefighter to Lieutenant in the Fire Division was Doug Drake. Lieutenant Drake joined the department in 2000.

- October 19, 2007-
Beginning with the Nov. 6 election, voters will be asked to show a photo ID - or sign a form stating that they don't have one - before receiving a ballot. The requirements are the result of a 1996 law recently determined to be enforceable by the Michigan Supreme Court.
